The Fair Everywhere account is designed to help all small and medium sized businesses based in the UK. Whether you have just one employee or an entire army, Fair Everywhere will make doing business abroad, cheaper, easier and quicker for you.
All sole traders, limited companies and partnerships are welcome to sign up for a Fair Everywhere account. See our terms for further details.
Yes. You can make life easier by arranging regular payments via Direct Debit. We’ll even send you a text message if you need more funds to cover your payments.
Funds can be paid into your account by you or a third party via regular transfer, Standing Order or same day/next day Faster Payments from any UK bank account. You can also deposit cash at the Post Office or any Barclays high street branch.
You can link as many cards to your account as you want, and you can set user permissions at different levels of security access.
Your money is held as segmented funds in segregated accounts with our bankers, Barclays. That means your funds would be safeguarded in the unlikely event that Fair Everywhere were to stop trading. Similarly, any credit on your Fair Everywhere Prepaid Mastercard® card is held safely and securely for you by Wirecard Card Solutions Ltd.
Yes, you can. As soon as you've opened an account, we'll send you your account number and sort code. Simply share these two numbers with anyone you'd like to pay funds into your account.
You can withdraw cash using your card and PIN from most cash machines (ATMs) that display the Mastercard Acceptance Mark. There's a maximum daily limit of £2,000 from cash machines (ATMs).
You can also get cash over the counter at any high street bank that shows the Mastercard Acceptance Mark. You just need to take some photo ID along with your Fair Everywhere card. Again, there's a maximum withdrawal limit of £2,000 per day.
Retailers who offer a cashback service can also provide you with cash - up to their own limits.
You can check your balance any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through your online account. We don't send paper statements but you can view your statements online and print these for your records. Your statements can be displayed in a range of formats compatible with most cloud accounting software providers.
The Fair Everywhere mobile app allows you to manage your day-to-day banking easily from any mobile device. You can check your balance quickly without having to log in, view your statements, pay your bills, and receive secure messaging with push notifications for all payments in and out of your account. You can also use the app to report your card lost or stolen 24 hours a day.
The Fair Everywhere account isn't set up to offer overdrafts at this stage.
You can pay bills from your account by Direct Debit or Standing Order. You can also arrange same day/next day Faster Payments through online banking, our mobile app or by calling customer services.
Simply give your sort code and account number to the company you're making payments to. You can view your active and cancel Direct Debits at any time online.
To set up a Standing Order on your account, you'll need the sort code and account number of the company or individual you're paying. Sometimes you'll also need a reference number. You can set up Standing Orders online or by phoning customer services.
You can transfer funds from your account to any other UK bank account via Faster Payments*. Please see the timetable for this service below.

*If you send a Same Day Faster Payment after 16:30 Monday to Friday, it will reach the recipient's bank the next day. If you send a Next Day Faster Payment after 16:30 Monday to Friday, it will reach the recipient's bank two days later.
**Please note that some banks only accept BACS payments. These take 3 working days.
To deposit cash or a cheque into your account, you'll need to complete a bank giro form provided by Fair Everywhere and make the deposit at any Barclays branch.
Please check our terms and conditions for our cheque clearing rules. We don't accept cheques payable to a third party and endorsed in your favour. You can use our giro forms to make cash deposits at any Post Office.
You can use your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) when making or receiving international payments. It doesn't replace your sort code and account number - it's an additional number that contains extra information to help overseas banks identify your account for payments.
A SWIFT (or SWIFTBIC) code helps overseas banks identify which bank they need to send the money to. For example, if an overseas bank is sending to a payment to your Fair Everywhere account, they'll need our SWIFT code.
You'll find your IBAN number and our SWIFT number displayed in the log-in area of our website.
